Soak

I recently tried a few samples of a Soak, a new product for hand-washing fine fabrics. I hadn't heard of Soak before and was interested to see what it had to offer.

Soak is a no-rinse hand-wash solution for everything from lingerie, hosiery and swim to cashmere, silk and knits (even baby clothes, canvas handbags, quilts and pets!), Soak’s fabric-friendly, gentle formulation revitalizes your fine fibers, keeping them in good condition, looking new, and smelling fresh with an array of scents to choose from.

No perfumes or dyes and a biodegradable, phosphate-free formulation in all Soak products, as well as recyclable bottles and water-based ink used on the packaging make it a fresh, ultra-clear and eco-friendly way to take care of the fine fibers you care about most. Just soak and squeeze - and your clothes will stay soft, vibrant and looking fabulous!

Soak is available both in bottles (either the 425mL or bullet 130mL) as well as the 6mL Mini size, perfect for traveling.

I tried Soak on a few "delicates" and was happy to find how easy it is to use. You just add Soak to cool water and then soak your item for 15 minutes. Then you just gently squeeze the water out of the item - - and you're done! No need to rinse! The soak scents are fabulous but, if you prefer, you can also opt for their scentless version, which is completely fragrance free.

Soak is available in 800+ stores and online retailers across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the UK, including Dillard’s, Freshpair.com, Bliss (catalog and online) here in the U.S. Please visit www.soakwash.com for the full list of retailers.
